  • Octoberfest
Celebrating the famous Bavarian folk festival. We won’t travel to the meadow in Munich, Bavaria, Germany; nor have beer, but we will have great music at the senior center with the Monrovians, one of the top groups in the area. Come enjoy a dance or two and enjoy the music. Starting at 11 AM on October 7th. Lunch served at noon.
  • Halloween Celebration
Start your Halloween festivities with the movie on October 19 - Hotel Transylvania 2. Then join in the fun on October 28th by dressing up in your most crazy, scary, outrageous outfit and join the Halloween party at the center. Singing Sue will be getting us moving around the room. Enjoy lunch served at noon.
  • Veterans Day
The history of this holiday came about as Armistice Day bringing the end of World War 1. In 1954, the holiday became known as Veterans Day honoring American veterans of all wars. Dress in red, white, blue and join us at the center with Gerry Albin playing music starting at 10:45 AM on November 11th. Lunch served at noon.
  • Celebrate Christmas at the Center
SAVE THE DATE! Some people’s favorite holiday. Whether it is shimmer and glimmer; pausing for the birth of baby Jesus, or impatiently waiting for Santa Claus to deliver those presents we will share a special meal together at the center celebrating the season. Leave the decorating and preparing the festive meal to us. Dave Richardson will start the music at 10:45 AM on December 16th, lunch served at noon.
